Meet Claire

Muse House is the interior design side of Muse Built, our family owned, award winning building company in Newcastle.

We began with a simple observation. After years of building homes, we saw how much of a home’s feel comes down to the interior: the finishes, the light, the way materials sit together. It’s often the part clients feel least sure about. Muse House exists to make it feel easy.

We take a considered approach to interiors. Every finish is chosen with intention, from warm timber and soft neutrals to natural stone and brushed brass. We design spaces that feel calm, layered and lived in, and that suit the way you live.

We work with clients across Newcastle and the Hunter on new builds, renovations, and residential and commercial spaces. You can work with us on a full design, a focused package, or lighting and window treatments on their own. You don’t need to build with Muse Built to work with Muse House.

Our Selections Guides come with a box of physical samples, so you can see and feel your finishes before you decide.

We’re taking a limited number of clients from January 2027.
